The Smart Governance pillar of the PBAT Smart Nation Initiative represents a fundamental shift in how public institutions connect with and serve Nigerian citizens. Our advocacy centers on replacing these models with cloud-native digital infrastructure that promotes absolute transparency, security, and accessibility.

At the core of Smart Governance is the integration of biometric identity systems and secure, centralized citizen portals. By establishing unified databases, we enable public offices to process document requests, business licensing, and civic registrations in a fraction of the time. We advocate for the deployment of open-source government registries, which permit real-time auditing of development funds and project statuses.
